Fifty abducted students of St. Mary’s Catholic School, Agwara Local Government, Niger State, have escaped from their abductors and reunited with their loved ones.
The students were abducted on Friday, November 21, 2025, after gunmen attacked the school and kidnapped 303 pupils and 12 teachers.
Daniel Ator, the state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, in a statement, said, “This is to notify the public that, as of Sunday, November 23, 2025, we have received some good news as fifty pupils escaped and have reunited with their parents. We were able to ascertain this when we decided to contact and visit some parents.”
