Two 200-level students of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, have been reported missing. The students, Andrel Okah from the Department of History and International Studies, and John Abba from the Department of Economics, were last seen two weeks ago.
Describing their absence from school as unusual, Ajibola, a fellow student, said, “We do not even know if it is a case of kidnapping or something else. Efforts to reach them by phone have repeatedly failed. Their sudden disappearance is giving us concerns.”
Mr. Victor Akinpelumi, the institution’s spokesperson, said the police have been informed about the situation. Olayinka Ayanlade, the spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, confirmed that the issue is under investigation.
