Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Ekiti State, organized an agricultural exposition
The Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Ekiti State, has organised an agricultural exposition themed ‘Harnessing the Power of Cooperatives for Sustainable Agricultural Development.’
Participants at the event included the IITA–CGIAR Project Development and Administration Unit (IITA–PDAU) and researchers, students, policymakers, development partners, and farmers from the 16 local government areas of the state.
Dr Awobajo, the Head of PDAU, who led the IITA delegation to the exposition, described it as a platform that bridges the gap between agricultural research, innovation, and practice.
The PDAU boss appreciated Aare Afe Bababalola, ABUAD’s founder, for his vision and leadership in funding the exposition as a flagship initiative in Nigeria’s agriculture sector.
