Prof Olalekan Asikhia, Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University, Lagos
Prof Olalekan Asikhia, Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University, Lagos, will deliver an inaugural lecture at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State. The event, marking Babcock’s 57th inaugural lecture, is scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2025.
According to Caleb University’s Information Officer, Olawale Adekoya, Asikhia, who also recently delivered a Hooding Lecture at Covenant University, will present on the theme: “It Is Time to Use Functional Businesses to Kill Poverty in Africa.”
Asikhia, a former Professor of Business Administration and Marketing at Babcock, is widely recognised for his scholarship in entrepreneurship, management and innovation.
Adekoya noted that the lecture reflects a milestone in inter-university collaboration, intellectual leadership, and the promotion of research culture.
The presentation is expected to extend Asikhia’s influence in bridging academic theory with practical business solutions.
