The Dr Chioma Awuzie Foundation (DCAF) has awarded scholarships and initiated a charity programme to benefit 137 disadvantaged students from six tertiary institutions in Anambra.
At the presentation ceremony, Dr Chioma Irene Awuzie, the founder, marked her 52nd birthday by giving 19 students one-time academic scholarships and providing assistance to 118 students through the DCAF charity programme. Emphasising the foundation’s focus on education, Awuzie said, “With today’s awards, our total number of beneficiaries has surpassed 100 students from six public tertiary institutions in Anambra State.” Awuzie also gave gifts and empowerment tools to the youth at the event.
