The Ebonyi State Government has sworn in Sheikh Idris Nwachi as the Education Secretary in Afikpo Local Government (LG).
Timothy Nwachi, the local government chairman, admonished the new official to strive to transform the local government’s education and collaborate with the teachers. He further urged him to partner with key agencies to fill vacant positions in the education system. Chief Ewah OtuEleri, Afikpo LG Board Chairman, expressed that the area lacks teachers, imploring Nwachi to resolve it. Nwachi assured the officials of his dedication and promised to work hand-in-hand with everyone.
