Prince Adelaja Adeoye, CEO of Fendini Group, has urged engineers, architects, and developers to prioritise safety and strictly comply with building codes to prevent structural failures and disasters in Nigeria.
Speaking after receiving his Master’s Degree in Property Development and Management from Lead City University, Ibadan, Adeoye stressed that adherence to zoning laws, physical planning permits, and industry regulations is essential from the project planning stage. “Prioritising safety early can prevent many disasters,” he said.
He added that building professionals must continually upgrade their knowledge to collaborate effectively with regulators, investors, and government agencies.
Adeoye noted that rising building collapse cases highlight the urgent need for compliance and professional diligence in the construction sector.
On his academic achievement, he described it as the culmination of years of rigorous study and a boost to his capacity as a property developer in residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality projects. He said the qualification will further strengthen Fendini Homes’ commitment to safety, quality, and excellence.
Adeoye expressed gratitude to God, family, mentors, and Lead City University for their support throughout his academic journey.
