The Federal Government has sent four Technical Aid Volunteers (TAC) Specialist Nurses to Jamaica to effect improvement in education and professionalism. The volunteers were trained and deployed by the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC) in Abuja.
Dr Yusuf Yakub, the Director-General (DG) of NTAC, described the deployment as “a testament to Nigeria’s unwavering commitment to sharing knowledge, skills and expertise with our brothers and sisters across the world.” Amb. Zakari Usman, the Director of Programmes for NTAC, advised the volunteers to serve with commitment and integrity. Vouching for the volunteers, Dr Umar Jubril, a Nursing Educator, said that the team would make the agency proud.
