The Federal Polytechnic, Wannune, Benue State, has announced the commencement of applications for the position of Registrar, which will become vacant on March 16 2026.
A statement signed by the institution’s Registrar and Secretary to Council, Dr Muhammad Ndas Ndaeji, said the position is open to qualified and experienced candidates with strong administrative and leadership skills.
According to the statement, the Registrar serves as one of the principal officers of the Polytechnic, responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration and as secretary to the Governing Council, Academic Board, and other statutory committees.
Eligible candidates must possess at least a first degree with a minimum of second-class lower division or an HND with lower credit in the social sciences, humanities, education, or related fields, with not less than 18 years of post-qualification experience. Holders of a master’s degree must have at least 12 years of experience, 10 of which should be in a polytechnic or related TVET institution.
Applicants must currently hold the position of Deputy Registrar for at least five years, be proficient in ICT, and not be older than 59 years as of March 2026.
The appointment, as noted in the statement, is for a single five-year tenure with a consolidated salary and other benefits approved for principal officers of federal polytechnics.
