FUNAAB, TETFund, SKYE II Host Career Fair

Participants at FUNAAB maiden edition of its Skill-Driven Career Fair in collaboration with TETFund and SKYE II


The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State, has organised the maiden edition of its Skill-Driven Career Fair in collaboration with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) and the Skills Development for Youth Employment (SKYE II) Programme.


The programme is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented in Nigeria by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)
Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi, the deputy vice chancellor (Academic), represented by Prof. Emmanuel Fakoya, the Dean, College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD), applauded the organisers and advised students to leverage the fair as it is a platform for professional development.


In addition, Ms Svjetlana Djokic, the Component Manager of GIZ – SKYE II, represented by Mr Godwin Obhiyeghobu, the Vocational Training and Labour Market Advisor at GIZ, highlighted that the programme supports its partners, including FUNAAB, in making youths employable through skill development.
