KolaDaisi University (Ibadan) has unveiled the establishment of a ₦1.5 billion Critical Infrastructure Fund to sponsor key projects in the institution.
Mr Remi Babalola, the pro-chancellor and chairman, announced the funding at the university’s 5th convocation ceremony, saying, “In a remarkable demonstration of visionary leadership, our founder and chancellor, Bashorun Kola Daisi, has established a N1.5 billion Critical Infrastructure Fund.”
He elaborated that the fund will cater to the university’s growth and academic excellence.
The pro-chancellor disclosed that the annual interest generated from the fund will be used further to enhance the institution’s academic and infrastructural goals.
