Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Launches Staff Audit Committee

MAPOLY inaugurates a nine-member Ad-hoc Staff Audit Committee, to assess the current employment status of all staff


Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, has inaugurated a nine-member Ad-hoc Staff Audit Committee, chaired by Dr Olalekan Oketokun, to assess the current employment status of all staff.


The Rector, Arc. Dr Koye Jolaoso charged the committee to execute its assignment diligently, objectively and within the stipulated two-week timeframe. He emphasised the audit’s importance in determining staff numbers, identifying gaps, ensuring career progression, and supporting human resource planning.


The committee’s mandate includes assessing workforce strength and distribution, identifying areas for improvement, highlighting potential ‘ghost workers,’ and uncovering financial leakages. Members are authorised to access records and invite staff as needed to fulfil their duties.


Oketokun thanked management for the trust and assured that the committee would act with dedication and integrity.
Other members include Esv. Dr Samson Agbato, Dr Mobolaji Sodunke, Mr Adewale Ashaye, Mr Funsho Kusimo, Mrs Rasidat Obadina, Mr Tosin Ogundeyi, Mr Kabir Adewuyi, and Mr Popoola Rahman as Secretary.
