Pause Before Intervening: Allow students time to process and attempt problem-solving independently before stepping in.
Anticipate Challenges: Design lessons that proactively address potential obstacles, providing resources like visual aids or sentence starters to guide students.
Encourage Reflective Thinking: Use open-ended questions such as “What strategies have you tried?” to prompt student reflection and self-assessment.
