Students of the Ogun State College of Nursing Science, Abeokuta, have expressed frustration over what they describe as cumbersome administrative procedures in the institution.
A recent report revealed that students complained about the long queues, repeated rejections, and harsh attitudes they face while processing academic documents such as registration forms and clearance papers.
“For every single document, you must move from one office to another, queue endlessly, and still face rejection for the tiniest mistake. It is exhausting,” one student said.
Another added that the delays often waste an entire day and sometimes require multiple visits without resolution. “They talk down to us as if we are children or criminals. Respect is lacking,” a male student said.
Following these issues, the students suggest digitising processes to reduce bottlenecks, though some feared poor internet access could also pose challenges.
