Dr. Matthew Abiodun, an indigene of Ogun State, has made history by winning two top awards at Covenant University’s 18th convocation ceremony. Abiodun was recognised as the Best Graduating Doctoral Degree Student in Mechanical Engineering and the Best Graduating Doctoral Degree Student across the entire College of Engineering.
The University’s announcement praised Abiodun for his exceptional academic achievements, particularly his groundbreaking research on fuel nano-additives derived from agro-waste.
His work focuses on improving combustion efficiency, reducing harmful emissions, and promoting sustainability in fuel economies.
Abiodun’s research has gained global attention, with over 12 publications in renowned journals and more than 70 academic citations.
