PAPU Holds Higher Education Conference

Prof. Andrew Zamani, President, PASU

The Higher Education Conference, organised by the Pan-African Psychology Union (PAPU), slated for November 4-8, 2025, is now ongoing.

While speaking at the press briefing that preceded the conference, Prof. Andrew Zamani, PAPU President, said, “The main goal for this is to ensure that we bridge the knowledge and skills gap between the university and industry. To harmonise curricula that enable psychologists to harmonise a basic minimum academic standard that enables them to respond to the continent’s current developmental challenges and enhance leadership capacities that impact quality of life positively.”

In corroboration, he said the conference will foster collaboration among policymakers, scholars, and education practitioners.

Speaking further about the conference, which aims to explore patent and copyright issues in research, academic mentoring, and innovation, Zamani emphasised that the efforts of every participant will improve the quality of education.
