President Bola Tinubu has commended the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) for its role in advancing Nigeria’s human capital development and preparing the nation’s workforce for the future.
Speaking through the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, at the opening of the 57th International Conference and Exhibition of CIPM in Abuja, Tinubu described the Institute as a strategic partner in achieving the government’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”
“The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria has continued to play a pivotal role in developing competencies needed for national productivity,” the President stated, assuring the Federal Government’s continued support for CIPM’s initiatives.
Also speaking, Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, praised CIPM’s efforts in driving people-management excellence and pledged sustained collaboration to strengthen Nigeria’s workforce.
CIPM President, Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, stated that the conference aimed to equip professionals for emerging workplace realities, emphasising that “the future will reward those who remain humane in a digital world.”
The event also featured the launch of the CIPM Mobile App, designed to enhance members’ access to learning and professional engagement.
