The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has announced plans to begin training teachers at Abdul Aziz Attah Memorial College (AAAMCO), Kogi State, on the use of digital learning devices.
The devices were donated by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, to boost teaching and learning in the school. UBEC said the training will also cover the installation of the newly revised curriculum on the devices.
Aisha Garba, Executive Secretary of UBEC, explained that the process was delayed due to the late release of the updated curriculum and the teachers’ training manual.
Knowledge Asset Manager Dr Ossom M. Ossom confirmed that arrangements have now been finalised to expedite the exercise, with training scheduled to commence next week once details are received from Kogi SUBEB and the school management.
