Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, VC of UNILAG, during the inaugural Registry Week
Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has notified the university staff to prepare for digital transformation.
She stated this during the university’s inaugural Registry Week, themed “University Administration: The Future is Now.”
Emphasising the need to go digital to the university staff, she expressed, “Digitisation, computer literacy, is the new reading and writing. If you cannot do that, you will be left behind. You are going to go through some hard work in the next few months and years, but I assure you, there is a light shining at the end of it.”
“You will be better, more valuable, and the university will be better for it. Moreover, that includes the College of Medicine and Radiography.”
The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the Registry for welcoming change, while encouraging staff to take the transformation as an avenue for personal and institutional growth.
