Mr Stephen Emmanuel, ranked among the world’s top 2 most influential scientists
Stephen Emmanuel, an alumnus of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), has been ranked among the top 2% scientists in a global ranking conducted by Stanford University and Elsevier.
Emmanuel has conducted several research projects in material and environmental chemistry, with a specialisation in water remediation and biomass waste valorisation.
The researcher, who completed his first and second degrees with distinction from UNILORIN, has demonstrated significant excellence and research potential.
Reacting to the recognition, Emmanuel appreciated everyone, highlighting that the “global recognition serves as motivation to continue contributing to science for sustainable development.”
He added that he is open to global grants and collaborations tailored to enhancing sustainable environmental development, as well as solutions for a circular economy and green technologies.
