The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Management Services) of the University of Ilorin, Professor Adegboyega Adisa Fawole, has described the recently concluded 40th Convocation Ceremonies as highly successful, based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
Speaking after the post-event review meeting of the Ceremonials Committee on October 29, 2025, Fawole stated that all activities had gone as planned, with impressive attendance from dignitaries and guests from across Nigeria.
He commended the Vice Chancellor, Prof Wahab Egbewole, SAN, and the management team for their support, as well as committee members for their teamwork and efficiency.
Fawole, who chairs the Ceremonials Committee, noted areas requiring improvement, such as internet connectivity, traffic control, and better communication with graduands and parents to ensure smoother coordination in future editions.
He assured that the committee would apply lessons learned to deliver even more outstanding ceremonies in subsequent years, aligning with the university’s growing prestige and expanding population.
