Prof. Augustine Ovuoronye Ikelegbe, the Vice Chancellor of Western Delta University (WDU)
Western Delta University (WDU) has celebrated its convocation ceremony, graduating 190 students and awarding 12 best students with prizes and awards.
Prof. Augustine Ovuoronye Ikelegbe, the university’s vice chancellor, expressed his happiness over the success of the first set of doctoral degree students.
The Vice-Chancellor appreciated Chief James Onanefe Ibori, the university visitor and former Governor of Delta State, for his continued investment in the university’s infrastructure. He asked stakeholders to support the university in making it bigger and better, noting that it is one of the most affordable in Nigeria.
Ibori admonished the graduands to bear in mind that their education is for development. In addition, he stated that WDU will remain focused on adding value and changing lives.
