Access Holdings Appoints Ibironke Adeyemi as Independent Director

Access Holdings has announced the appointment of Mrs Ibironke Adeyemi as an Independent Non-Executive Director to strengthen its Board with more experience and diversity.

The appointment, which was approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), took effect on April 15, 2025. It is part of the company’s move to bring more leadership experience in education, finance, and corporate governance into its decision-making.

Mrs. Adeyemi joins the Board with over 30 years of experience in finance, management, and governance.

The company said the appointment reflects its commitment to inclusive leadership and solid governance.

Group Chairman Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede welcomed the new director: “I am pleased to welcome Mrs Ibironke Adeyemi to the Board of Access Holdings. Her appointment underscores our commitment to enhancing our Board’s diversity and depth of expertise. With her addition, we are proud to have four accomplished women among our nine-member Board, reinforcing our belief in the value of inclusive leadership.”

He added that her education and social entrepreneurship background align well with the company’s goals of creating long-term value and driving social impact.

 “Her insights and experience will enrich our discussions and propel the Company toward achieving its long-term goals,” he added. Mrs Adeyemi is the managing director of Chrisland Schools Limited, the flagship arm of Chrisland Group and one of the top private education providers in Nigeria.
