Mr. Moruf Akinola, FCA, the Bursar of the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman of the Association of Federal Polytechnic Bursars of Nigeria (AFPBN).
The election, which took place during the Association’s recent general meeting, was marked by a collective vote of confidence from his colleagues across Federal Polytechnics nationwide. Mr. Akinola’s emergence as chairman underscores his reputation as a seasoned finance professional, administrator, and leader committed to transparency, accountability, and innovation in public financial management.
With decades of experience and as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Mr. Akinola has played a pivotal role in enhancing the financial administration of Federal Polytechnic Ilaro. His tenure has been characterised by prudent fiscal policies, process digitisation, and a commitment to aligning institutional goals with national development strategies.
