The Vice-Chancellor of Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo, Professor Bayode Isaiah Popoola, has urged staff to remain committed as the institution navigates current challenges.

Speaking at the university’s monthly prayer meeting, Professor Popoola described difficulties as part of institutional life but expressed optimism that sustained effort and faith would help the university overcome them. He commended staff attendance at the gathering, emphasising collaboration and trust in the administration.

“Challenges are part of life, but with patience, dedication and faith, better days are ahead,” he said, calling for continued support from all members of the university community.

The event also featured a sermon by Pastor Paul Adebayo, a senior member of the AFUED Prayer Committee, who encouraged staff and students to maintain confidence in God while striving for excellence. Attendees engaged in Bible readings, song ministrations, and prayers for the welfare of the university, its management, staff, students, and the wider Ondo community.

University leaders, including the Registrar, Bursar, Librarian, deans, directors, and department heads, were present, underscoring the administration’s focus on staff morale as a key driver of institutional resilience and progress.
