Prof Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, the Secretary General of the Association of West African Universities (AWAU) and Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, has been elected Vice President (Western Africa) of the Association of African Universities (AAU).
Prof. Egbewole’s election, alongside other regional Vice Presidents, was one of the highlights of the just concluded 16th General Conference of AAU that was held in Rabat, Morocco, between July 21 and July 25, 2025.
