Mr. Akinsanmi Falaki
The Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association has inducted Mr Akinsanmi Falaki, a seasoned banker and business executive, into its Hall of Fame (Platinum Category) in recognition of his professional excellence and leadership.
Falaki, who earned a B.Sc. in Business Management from the then University of Ado-Ekiti and an MBA in Human Resource Management, has over two decades of distinguished service in Nigeria’s financial sector. He also holds a certification in Corporate Governance from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA.
Over the years, he has held senior positions in leading financial institutions, including Skye Bank, Union Bank, and Keystone Bank, where he progressed to Divisional Head of the Northern Directorate and later became Assistant General Manager.
Presenting the award, EKSU Alumni President, Ambassador Seyi Idowu, described Falaki as “a beacon of excellence and a reflection of the university’s values of integrity, innovation, and leadership.”
Other inductees included Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and Presidential Adviser Dr Tope Fasua.
Falaki dedicated the honour to all EKSU graduates, pledging continued support for initiatives that advance the institution’s growth and global reputation.
