Dr Sarafa Agbogun, the former bursar and forensic expert at the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora, has applauded the college’s rector and management for their contributions in academic capacity development.
In a statement titled, ‘Agbogun Applauds Rector, Management over Staff Development as OYSCATECH Gets 18 PhD Holders, Others in Quick Succession’, the ex-bursar noted that the college has had 18 academic staff members earn their Doctorate’s Degree between 2024 and 2025, while many have also bagged their Master’s Degrees and professional certificates.
Describing staff development at OYSCATECH as unparalleled, he noted that the rector’s personal investment has been highly valuable in enhancing the institution’s prestige and boosting staff morale.
He noted that the increase in staff academic growth is a result of clear policies and supportive leadership, while appreciating the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) for supporting staff through capacity-building programmes.
