Falaki Inducted Into EKSU Alumni Hall of Fame


Renowned banker, Akinsanmi Falaki, has been inducted into the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association Hall of Fame under the Platinum Category.


The honour recognises Falaki’s exceptional professional achievements, leadership excellence, and enduring commitment to the values of integrity and innovation.


Speaking at the induction ceremony held at the university’s Main Auditorium, EKSU Alumni President, Amb. Seyi Idowu described Falaki as “a beacon of excellence and a model of EKSU’s core values.”


Falaki, who earned a B.Sc. in Business Management from EKSU and an MBA in Human Resource Management, has over two decades of experience in Nigeria’s financial sector. His career includes senior leadership roles at Skye Bank, Union Bank, and Keystone Bank, where he advanced to the position of Assistant General Manager.


He also holds a certification in Corporate Governance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the United States.


Other inductees include Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and presidential adviser Dr Tope Fasua.


In his remarks, Falaki dedicated the award to all EKSU alumni, reassuring his commitment to the university’s continued growth and global relevance.
