The Federal Government is working to absorb teachers employed by Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) in federal unity colleges nationwide. This move aims to bridge the gap created by the shortage of teachers in the education system.
Speaking during a meeting with principals of federal unity colleges, the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, emphasised that sustainable funding and infrastructure development to meet the country’s educational needs are top priorities for the government.
Dr Alausa also highlighted the government’s focus on Federal Technical Colleges, stressing the importance of building impactful skills in Nigerian students to equip them for the future.
