The Faculty of Social Sciences at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) hosted a one-day Students’ Colloquium at the Faculty Auditorium, Phase 3, on Thursday, bringing together students and staff for an academic and professional engagement.
The event featured presentations on academic research, health topics, and entrepreneurship, designed to expand students’ knowledge and foster innovative thinking. Heads of departments within the faculty attended, and the programme was led by the Dean, Professor Sunday Adedini, who praised the initiative as part of the faculty’s efforts to enhance academic excellence and student development.
During the colloquium, students participated in interactive sessions designed to build intellectual, professional, and entrepreneurial skills, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to producing well-rounded graduates.
