Ibadan North Donates Learning Materials to Schools

A total of 73 public primary schools in Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State are set to benefit from a major education support initiative. The council has begun distributing free learning materials and school furniture to help improve classroom conditions and encourage pupils to study harder.

Chairman of the council, Seun Olufade, said the gesture, worth millions of naira, aims to support pupils and ease the financial burden on parents. According to him, the items being shared include 800 desks and seats, 300 school bags, 200 pairs of sandals, and several packs of chalk and board markers.

Olufade praised Governor Seyi Makinde for backing the project, noting that the government remains committed to improving basic education across the state. He added that the initiative would motivate young learners and create a better learning environment for both teachers and pupils in Ibadan North.
