Hon. Abubakar Kabir Bichi, representing Bichi Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, on Monday, July 7, donated 13 new 16-seater buses to tertiary institutions in Kano State. Some of the beneficiary institutions include Aliko Dangote Science University, Yusuf Maitama Sule Federal University, Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Kano College of Islamic Legal Studies, and Northwest University, Kano.
Bichi also distributed 11 tractors and combine harvesters to constituents. Represented by Dr Habibu Usman Abdu, the Education Committee Chairman, and other staff members, Bichi said the donation was made to ensure effective learning and ease transportation.
