The 94/99 set of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Mass Communication students, in partnership with After God’s Heart Incorporated (AGH), will on December 11 unveil a multi-million-naira mini library in Abeokuta North, Ogun State.
The facility, part of the set’s #30YearsOfFriendshipAndTogetherness reunion legacy projects, is designed as a student-friendly learning centre with reading desks, shelves, reference materials, and other academic resources.
It aims to promote reading, bridge learning gaps, and provide a conducive environment for students’ educational growth.
President of AMACOS 94/99, Adenekan Moruff, said the initiative demonstrates the set’s commitment to educational development. At the same time, Dr D. Olawale, AGH Chairman, described it as a step toward youth empowerment and academic excellence.
The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North, Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, is expected to serve as Special Guest of Honour at the inauguration.
The reunion also features other projects, including the inauguration of an advertising studio, ARCON accreditation efforts, gifts to non-academic staff, visits to the Rector and the Abeokuta Correctional Centre, a Jumat service, and a “Reconnect & Refresh” evening.
