The National Examinations Council has officially started registration for the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External for candidates outside the formal school system.
The examination is only open to those who have attempted the SSCE Internal exam in the last five years.
In a statement signed by Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, NECO Registrar and Chief Executive, the registration is open from July 7 to September 18, 2025.
The registration costs 40,000 and will cover service charges, a four-digit mathematical table, and a waterproof certificate jacket.
Following the registration deadline, exams will begin on September 29 and end on December 19, 2025.
