The new Counsellor of Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Rt. Rev. Dr Joseph Olusola has urged students and staff to be good examples and positive change agents wherever they go. Speaking during the weekly Community Service at Crowther Hall on June 25, 2025, Bishop Olusola, who is also the Bishop of Ijesa North East Diocese, encouraged the university community to live a life that pleases God and reflects the values of ACU.
He challenged students to ask themselves, “What Would Jesus Do?” in their choices—how they dress, act, and study. He warned against cheating, indecent dressing, and copying negative trends, saying they are called to a higher standard. He also advised everyone to avoid shortcuts and embrace a life of integrity. According to him, true worship is living a life that honours God, and every ACU student should strive for excellence by doing what is right.
