Nine law graduates from Babcock University have achieved first-class honours in the November 2024 Bar Part II final examinations conducted by the Nigerian Law School.
Dean of the School of Law and Security Studies, Prof. Dorcas Odunaike, announced the feat, describing it as another milestone in the university’s consistent record of excellence in legal education.
She revealed that, according to early reports, one of the graduates may have ranked as the third-best candidate nationwide.
The latest achievement, she noted, underscores Babcock University’s rigorous legal training, dynamic curriculum, and the unwavering commitment of the School of Law and Security Studies faculty.
Prof. Odunaike expressed pride in the students’ performance, noting the university’s ongoing mission to develop competent legal professionals to make meaningful contributions in Nigeria and internationally.
Babcock University, she added, has maintained a distinguished presence at the Nigerian Law School. “In 2013, we produced the best student in Law and Practice. Since then, our graduates have continued to perform exceptionally, including 20 first-class results in 2023,” she said.
