Dr. Ike Neliaku, NIPR President
NIPR President, Dr Ike Neliaku, has been named a recipient of the 2025 BPM Global 100 Leading Black Professionals award, recognising his role in modernising Nigeria’s public relations landscape.
The honour was presented by ICABA World Network during the Global 100 Awards Brunch on November 22, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as part of the Black Professionals Month initiative.
Neliaku, who joined virtually, described the recognition as one of the few he chose to accept, noting that his leadership ethos is anchored on hope, honour, partnership, and legacy.
He stressed the value of collaboration and reputation management, calling reputation “a core asset” that must never be taken lightly.
The award highlights a series of reforms championed under his leadership at NIPR, including the establishment of the University of Public Relations and Leadership, the Nigeria Spokespersons Summit, and the Nigeria Reputation Management Group.
Other achievements include the Nigeria Public Relations Week, the recognition of PR as a formal cadre in the civil service, and significant membership expansion within the institute.
