The Noella Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment through the second edition of the Life After School Summit 2025, held in Lagos, which brought together over 500 students for a day of mentorship and skills development.
The summit focused on digital literacy, financial education, and career readiness, equipping participants with practical tools to navigate the transition from school to work.
In her opening remarks, Mrs Layal Tinubu, Co-founder of the Foundation, said the initiative was designed to help students “shape their own futures” beyond traditional job search skills.
Speakers included Bankole Williams, Kunle Afolayan, Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu, and Aramide Abe, who shared insights on creativity, identity, and professional growth.
Youth Minister Ayodele Olawande urged students to pair competence with values, while SMEDAN DG Charles Odii announced support for CAC registration of student-led businesses.
To reward excellence, 42 students received laptops and 26 others earned educational grants. The Foundation also announced a four-week Life After School Bootcamp 2025, during which 250 participants will undergo training in employability and creative skills.
