The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) has deployed over 140 beneficiaries on postgraduate scholarships to universities in the United Kingdom. At a pre-departure briefing in Abuja, PAP Administrator Dr. Dennis Otuaro urged the scholars to use the opportunity to contribute to the socio-economic growth of the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
New laptops were handed to the beneficiaries to support their studies and research. Otuaro noted that the programme aims to strengthen the human resource capacity of the region and reduce the gap in human capital development. He stressed that the project is designed to support President Tinubu’s national development programmes and prepare skilled professionals who can drive progress in the Niger Delta and beyond.
The scholarship underlines PAP’s commitment to educational growth, capacity development, and job creation opportunities for young people from the Niger Delta region to shine on the global platform.
