Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, and Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife
Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, has commended Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, Osun State, for establishing the Ojaja University.
Speaking at the university’s unveiling and the Ooni’s 10th coronation ceremony, the Sultan described the institution as a legacy project that deserves the support of everyone.
He added, “Leaving a legacy is the best you can do in your life. So, I am not envious of my brother, the Ooni, but I am grateful to Almighty that during our time we have people like him, who are really committed to helping the lives of our people.”
The Sultan encouraged everyone to keep praying and supporting all leaders, especially traditional rulers.
In his address, the Ooni noted the university’s growth since he took over, urging Nigerians to continue supporting efforts that add value to the country’s youth.
