Contrary to the overall decline in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2025, over 21% of JEXTOBAN students scored above 300, making it a 100% success rate.
JEXTOBAN’s management revealed that all their students scored above 200, while 49% scored between 250 and 299. According to Adedayo Ojo, Director of Planning and Strategy at JEXTOBAN, the student’s performance can be traced to their subject performance. “The high academic standards we maintain and the tireless efforts of our instructors in JEXTOBAN are reflected in their scores,” he emphasised.
Ojo noted that the recently celebrated 12 university graduates (JEXTOBAN’s alumni) with first-class honours from different universities across the world serve as an additional source of Joy to JEXTOBAN’s vision of providing qualitative education and fostering good character. JEXTOBAN’s students’ performance remains remarkable despite the nationwide decline in UTME performance and success.
