Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State, recently hosted the 2025 ECWA International Pastors’ Conference, themed “You Will Seek Me and Find Me”.
In his address, ECWA President, Rev. Dr Job Ayuba Bagat Mallam, described the conference as a divine appointment aimed at renewal, unity, and empowerment of ministers. He urged pastors to confront insecurity, moral decline, and prosperity-focused preaching with courage and integrity.
Delivering the keynote address, ECWA General Secretary, Rev. Dr Ayuba Asheshe, pinpointed secularism, scepticism and cultural pluralism as modern challenges to ministry. He stressed that while methods may evolve, the biblical message must remain constant.
Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, who attended as Special Guest, praised ECWA’s moral influence and called for stronger Sunday school systems, describing the church as vital to national peace and security.
Meanwhile, Bingham University Vice Chancellor, Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba, reassured the institution’s commitment to faith-based education and announced its 20th anniversary celebration scheduled for November 2025.
