The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has announced a vacancy for the position of Facility Manager at its National Engineering Centre, Central Business District, Abuja.
According to the organisation, the ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, be a corporate member of the NSE, and be registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). A Master’s degree in Engineering or an MBA will be an added advantage.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years post-graduation experience in engineering or the built environment, with at least three years in a facility management role.
The Facility Manager will oversee the maintenance of all facilities within the Secretariat complex, manage emergencies, monitor expenses, and implement energy-saving measures. Other duties include conducting safety inspections and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
