The House of Representatives’ Committee on Basic Education and Examination Bodies has announced that it will collaborate with examination bodies in the country to enhance educational standards. Rep. Oboku Oforji, the committee chairman, said the committee is “ready to collaborate, work with WAEC, NECO, JAMB, NABTEB and other examination bodies to improve the standard of education in our country.”
The chairman applauded NECO for conducting its examinations well, stressing the importance of the current reforms in the education sector. “For us in the parliament, we believe that the reforms that are ongoing will add value to the education sector, not just NECO, but all the other examination bodies,” Oforji said.
