itel Nigeria has committed N4 million to a back-to-school programme aimed at supporting education in local communities, it said on Tuesday.
The initiative, Love Always On, in partnership with the Ise Omoluabi Foundation, provided pupils at Omolaiye Community Primary School, Ikorodu, with essential items, including bags, pens, exercise books, and mathematical sets.
itel Mobile Nigeria’s PR supervisor, Terngu Shagba, said the scheme aligned with the company’s broader corporate social responsibility strategy, designed not merely to provide immediate relief but to foster long-term community development.
“By investing in education, we are not just serving as a tech empowerment brand, but also one that is committed to impacting lives positively,” Shagba said.
“This project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all,” he added.
Established over 15 years ago, itel is a technology empowerment brand focused on delivering budget-friendly consumer electronics to emerging markets.
