KAUST Opens 2025 Math Programme for Students

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, has announced the 2025 edition of its Applied Mathematics School (AMS), a one-week visiting program for undergraduate and master’s students. The event will take place from November 30 to December 4 on the KAUST campus.

The programme is explicitly designed to expose young scholars to advanced topics in applied mathematics, computational science, and statistics. Areas of focus include water wave modelling, mathematical biology, price formation, and the fractional Laplacian.

According to KAUST, selected participants will receive full support, including return airfare, visa assistance, free accommodation, stipends for living expenses, and other logistics.

The initiative is part of KAUST’s effort to build global capacity in science and technology by offering students hands-on exposure to world-class research. Applications close on October 12, 2025, giving interested students a limited time to apply. This opportunity promises to sharpen participants’ skills and open international opportunities in mathematics and science.
