The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) has signed a loan agreement with Nigeria to fund children’s education. Waleed Al-Bahar, KFAED’s Acting Director General, and Dr Doris Aneti, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Finance, signed the agreement on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Sharing the news on their X handle, the KFAED said the agreement will focus on improving the education infrastructure through school rehabilitation and increased access to education. It further explained that through the agreement, girls, adolescents, and children with special needs will get basic education.
