Olapade Oyinkansola Comfort has made her family proud after graduating with a First-Class degree in Law from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), finishing with a 4.53 CGPA.
Her journey was not smooth. She was first denied admission into the University of Ibadan because of a failed document upload. Later, she was offered admission to the University of Lagos. However, they offered her a course different from Law, even though she scored 281 in JAMB. She felt frustrated by the turn of events and almost gave up her academic pursuit until she was compelled to try out OOU.
At OOU, things were still tough. She faced Post-UTME technical problems and also battled the struggles of the COVID-19 period. Nevertheless, with determination, mentorship, and strong family support, she kept pushing. Before long, her grades began to improve, and she discovered her love for Criminal and Commercial Law.
Her academic performance peaked in her final year when she recorded two perfect 5.0 GPAs. This performance immediately made her popular among her colleagues and sealed her place as the shining star in her set.
