The Lagos State University (LASU) Directorate of ICT has launched the LASU eNotifier, a digital platform aimed at improving communication between Heads of Departments (HoDs) and students across all levels of the institution.
The eNotifier enables HoDs to send real-time messages from their official portals directly to students’ result portals, ensuring prompt and reliable dissemination of departmental notices, academic updates and administrative information.
According to the Directorate, the Examination and Records Department will also use the platform to reach specific categories of students when necessary. The Vice-Chancellor has directed all HoDs to utilise the platform effectively to keep students informed about key events and deadlines.
The eNotifier, built within LASU’s secure ICT framework, offers centralised communication, instant updates, structured record-keeping, and enhanced administrative efficiency. It eliminates dependence on third-party apps and strengthens accountability within departments.
This initiative aligns with LASU’s vision of becoming a globally competitive, technology-driven university with efficient and student-centred academic administration. Students and HoDs can access the eNotifier via their respective result portals to send and receive messages seamlessly.
